Hi all! It's been a bit since I've shared a new Outfit Of The Day look, but have no fear because we're kicking it off with these stunners!
These electric purple GRLFRND jeans are bound to turn heads! I really love to wear colored denim, it's like an instant mirror of my mood or a great way to embrace a season. Darker jeans are often seen during the fall and winter, whereas brighter jeans are typically worn during the spring and summer. If this isn't the happiest color, I don't know what else could be. Plus, they're basically mom jeans. High waist, lots of buttons, straight leg, and a bit of fray at the bottoms for some added youth. Least boring mom jeans ever!
Of course, to let the jeans do all of the talking, I tucked a white simple graphic tee into it. There is no reason to overdo the look and add some more bold colors or even patterns into it, although a polka-dot blouse or striped tee would probably be cute! I got this shirt from H&M. A lot of stores will carry graphic t-shirts with vintage logos on them. If you don't have an H&M near you, you'll find similar graphics at Target, Kohls, and sometimes even Walmart. Don't forget, if you're wearing mom jeans like this you want your shirt tucked in to show off that waist!
White high top Converse are for the win here, also. They pair well with the tee because the vintage red Kellogg logo and red converse stripe are basically BFF's, plus this is a classic converse look. It's only right to pair vintage with vintage. If you don't have converse, you could totally pair other sneakers or even flats with this look. I'd definitely keep with a white or maybe a black pair though, especially if you are wearing a black bag like this Prada bag here. A bag with a thin strap would also be cute, like the Chanel bag in my Yellow Pants OOTD.
