Best Shoes to Wear With a Floral Dress – 9 Cute Ideas

Hello to you lovely, thanks for coming by. I’m glad you did because I’m about to talk about the best shoes to wear with your favorite floral dresses.This one’s an important one because floral dresses are gorgeous and should be worn often! 

I’ve been asked before how I pick the shoes I do with my floral outfits, and you know… I have to say it’s super easy to match them! But I guess I base my selection on what I’m doing that day to make sure my look matches my activities. Nobody wears heels to the batting cages type of deal, you know? 

Anyway, I’m going to talk about 10 cute shoe types that look great with floral dresses. Hopefully these ideas that may help you out if you’re ever stumped on what to wear with yours!

1. Pumps

Pumps will never let you down and will always dress your look up! I don’t care if they’re peep toe, square toe, stiletto, chunky heel, velvet, or studded. Floral dresses look stellar with them every single time.

This floral dress is a beautiful one and perfect for nicer or more formal events. Her nude pumps with a bow accent on the toe are so sweet and really complete her look!

For starters, this is a super cute look. I can’t pinpoint if it is the color blue of the dress I love, the black boots, or that she’s wearing a great shade of lipstick. Whatever is happening here, I love it. Plus these ankle boots are perfect. Normally these wouldn’t go with dresses, right? Tides have turned!

4. Tall Boots

Okay, just kidding about the ankle boots getting you in the mood for fall. These next ones will definitely do the trick. Say hello to tall boots with floral dresses!

Here is a great look with over the knee heeled boots and a floral skater dress! This is such a sexy combination, which is proof that floral patterns can be sexy too! Imagine this dress with mules or flats and compare it to these boots. Two very different looks, right?

Wedges

So, I know we can’t see the front of this outfit here but if you aren’t sold on wedges and floral dresses just from looking at the back of this outfit I’m not sure it’ll ever happen.  I love these wedges. They’re cute and they know it, but they’re not over the top. A win in my book.

Pumps

This floral dress is proof that heels don’t mean you need to wear them out somewhere fancy. This is a gorgeous floral maxi that does really well with strappy heels and a floppy sun hat. It’s a perfect lunch date or girls day outfit!

5. Flats

Flats are a favorite for workplaces or places you need your toes covered up. They’re… a little more dressy than regular sandals or shoes, don’t you think?

Can we start with saying how amazing this girl’s hair is? It totally is. Her flats have straps around the ankles which is really cute, especially because she's managed to match her purse to it! All of it goes with her floral dress, which has a lot going on!

6. Lace Up Heels

Lace up heels are incredibly versatile and add a lot of oomph to your look! They’re for sure the best of both the sexy shoe and playful shoe worlds and work well with any dress- especially floral ones.

I love that these colored lace up heels aren’t exactly a color in the floral dress she’s wearing, but they still work really well. There’re somewhere on that same pallet and it’s just a happy place.  These are a great example of shoes that look great with casual floral dresses!

7. Mules

Mules are like… this secret gem of a shoe you didn’t know you needed to have. They’re like… a flat/ slide hybrid and they’re pretty fun to wear. Definitely don’t want to miss out pairing these with your floral dresses!
